AP Mocks just over, feels as though exams are over already actually.. Think I didn't do very well for the Stats paper..? Ahh, shall wait to see it when I get it back!

Anyway went to vivo for lunch on Thursday after Stats AP with part of the 403 gang, then watched Justin Bieber's NEVER SAY NEVER!

Aha! Now I officially have Justin Bieber plastered on my blog.
Anyway for people hatin', it's really a good watch. Just watch it with an open mind and you'll finish it having a whole new perspective on Justin Bieber. He's really quite talented! I think this movie made me realise all the things that I've always wanted to do, but never had the time to actually pursue.

Have you ever had a list of what you want to accomplish in your life? I have a whole long list actually. There's really so much I want to do, but I've spent the last few years in school not actually having much free time to do what I really wanna do and learn what I really wanna learn. But then again learning everything is pretty much unrealistic, but it's always good to dream ain't it?

Oh well. It's a matter of give and take I guess, I still have my whole life ahead of me! :D

I've been so ranty this year and I've been super emo in class ):

I'm also starting to see why the Year 7s were feeling really sian in school last year.. Like the future's just out there, and we're nearing the time where we finally get to step foot into the outside world. But are we ready? Only time will tell.

Well this week went by quite fast. Thank goodness Research Congress went well! Kinda looking forward to SSEF in a way, though I think the experience'll be quite petrifying haha!

And I don't care what everyone thinks of Justin Bieber, but I think this is a really nice and meaningful song.

Been thinking lately.. The CIP system seems kinda redundant.. Majority of students are doing it for the hours and not in the true spirit of wanting to help to community.

Anyway on to a lighter note, CNY this year was good. Didn't visit relatives this year, but well the festivities are always great :D

Went to my aunt's house for the whole of the first day where we played blackjack, mahjong and pig out on awesome food. Haha family is good :D

Went to the CSI exhibition at science centre with my family on the second day, really interesting and fun exhibit, there's like 3 crime scenes where you have to spot evidences and go round looking at how to interpret them! Then watched Shaolin at AMK hub at night. Best show I've watched in a while in my opinion. Revolves around moral values and such. Definitely worth the watch!

Went round visiting on the third day! Met Yanling at Kranji MRT in the morning and bused off to HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG's house! Learnt to play Monopoly Deal and Saboteur! Really awesome games! I need to play board/ card games more often haha! Then later trained across Singapore to Ms Sie's house! The rest of 403 were already there when we reached, so we gossiped around the table of pizza and talked mainly bout life. We should definitely make it a yearly thing to have a gathering at Ms Sie's house during CNY :D Went to dinner with my relatives at some Chinese restaurant at Civil Service Club and lao-ed yusheng and played with my schuuper adorable niece!

Overall it wasn't a typical CNY for me, but it was one very well spent with family and friends, and that's all that counts! (:

On another note, we're supposed to have a Physics test this week but our class hasn't formally be told yet -.- Hurray.

And back on the previous note, I absolutely ♥ my friends (:

Today and yesterday were eventful days!!

Went running around Clementi yesterday after classes and before research briefing. Wenxiang joined me cause he was presumably bored :p Wanted to run to Commonwealth and back but only managed to run till Buona Vista before the sky looked super threatening so we u-turned. Started POURING halfway, so both of us took shelter at this block of hdb flats. We were stuck there for like 30mins haha! And we couldn't get a cab cause all the cab lines were clogged! The rain is weird. It's just about to stop before it starts pouring again haha. In the end when the rain looked like it was about to stop, we ran to the Singapore Poly walkway before it started raining super heavily again. Wenxiang didn't bring his ezlink card along so essentially we were stuck there unless we got a cab :p Managed to flag a cab down forunately and cabbed back to school drenched :p Cool experience! Ty Wendy for running with me!!

Today was a generally good day!
Chem prac in the morning and then super misleading graded task all because of terrible phrasing. But other than that, lunched with yap, dylan, ivan, zk, hansiang, wx and rahul in the resource room with lots of teachers O: (exchange food yo) Mr Murali took a picture D:
Went to Yap's house after with Dylan, Ivan and Wendy! Sat around watching tv then made awesome chocolate lava cake!!! Chocalatey awesome on the outside and even more gooey chocolatey goodness on the inside! ((: Yanling, Jang, Stangxr, Ernest & JM came halfway and helped make the stuff too!! Then SAA came as the chocolate lava cake was in the oven :p Played Mario Kart and DDR after (wow I'm terrible at DDR)! Then Dylan went off at around 530 and Yanling at around 6 ): Then watched American Idol at 6pm!! I think this year's contestants are really interesting O: Most of them are so young!! Then gave Wendy his super belated present but too bad we couldn't open it :p
Left at around 815pm and here I am now!

Haha i think this post is so incoherent cause I'm kinda jittery and can't really be bothered to post in nice sentences :p

Happy Belated Birthday Chew Wendy!

I actually wanted the first post to be about this month's prospects but some things happened and well I just need to note it somewhere, just for personal keepsake.

Today has been a day of well, madness.

The motivation of me going to school has been steadily decreasing over this week. I was really looking forward to school after orientation cause I finally get to spend some time with friends again. But school's just not the same without hostel. In fact, I wonder how I managed to get through my first 4 years without hostel! It's getting really draining cause of the time I have to wake up every morning, as well as the ginormous pile of stuff I have to do, and hence the little time I have to do everything now since I have to get up so early every morning and plus at least 2-3h worth of travelling time everyday.

Well, on a somewhat unrelated note, went to get CCA fair stuff just now with wenxiang and gerlynn, but gerlynn left halfway so wenxiang stayed and helped me select stuff. Haha :D Thanks for helping me carry the stuff and for the company! Then met quzhi while waiting for my parents and thank you for helping me carry stuff too! Hahah glad I know awesome people.

Then I got home and napped for like 2h before going to run, but somewhere in between some stuff happened that got me really frustrated and I couldn't hold it in so I just blurted everything out, 5 whole texts full. Sometimes I feel that my expectations are really high, but yet they seem reasonable when I think back about it. Today's just one of those days where I'm having an internal conflict with myself. It feels so weird and it's really draining, but I guess that's how I sort things out and clarify with myself what I really want.

This is actually a really terrible time with so much to do but so little time, but I've settled on the fact that all I really need is time. I've barely had any rest since November, with the repeated cycle of ARP and Orientation planning (thank goodness for my family trip towards the end of Dec). I'm not complaining, merely reflecting. Given time, I'd be able to get my mind organized properly for the school term which I honestly haven't had the opportunity to yet. I can't afford to lose focus this semester.

I'm sorry but I've kinda been in a bad mood since I got back from school. This post is really all over the place and I'm sorry if I'm confusing/ dampening the mood of anyone who reads this, and anyone whom I've vented my frustration on :\ It's just that during this kind of situations even the smallest things can annoy me to the core.

I shall end abruptly here cause I realised how much I need to go to bed now. Night.

Just under an hour to 2011.

Just got back to Singapore earlier this afternoon and I must say, Europe is a really beautiful place. Especially liked Holland, Switzerland and Paris, but the best scenery is always at the countryside. Also experienced my first white Christmas! Truly magical. The above picture was taken in Colmar, France near the Fisherman's Wharf.

Will post about my trip some other time, but now it's time to reflect back on 2010. 2010 has been a crazy year. The best moments of 2010 have probably been the best moments of my life, and the lows of 2010 have been pretty harsh. Then again, what's life without some set backs?

All I want for 2011 is just to be a better and happier person. Enjoy my last year of high school life with my friends before we all go our separate ways. I shall treasure every day and do my best for everything, and not let certain things or particular people get in my way. My friends and family are what matter the most (:

2011 shall be a great year, and even if it's not, I'll make the best out of what I have.

Been a long time since I blogged!! Been busy with ARP, Orientation, etcetcetc.. (seriously!)
So anyway I'm back! (:

SO, went to watch Rapunzel/ Tangled with the 403 gang today!!!

It's definitely the best Disney show I've seen in a while, even all the guys who went to watch agree that it's really good!
The chameleon and the horse are super cute haha. Apparently the production cost of this movie was $260 million cause of the graphics!!! But that was definitely $260 million well spent cause the graphics were superb plus it's an awesome movie :D (It's Disney's 50th animated movie too apparently!)
OH AND GUOYANLING MISSED THE MOVIE CAUSE SHE THOUGHT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE NEXT SATURDAY D:
So after the movie we walked around Orchard.. The Christmas decorations this year are really nice (: And it's still crazy crowded at 10pm with half the stores closed..

Today was a good day overall for many people!! (:

Anyway, have I mentioned how awesome Bruno Mars is live? He sounds even better than he does on the CD! How amazing is that!

I just can't wait for exams to come now so that it'd be over and done with quickly and I can finally get some rest!

Had cluster outing to Kuishinbo at Jurong Point yesterday! Awesome food. Just awesome food. Was so bloated after that!
Reached back to hostel just in time for roll call, then slept till 2am and watched SPAIN vs GERMANY!!!

I'm super happy that Spain's gonna play Holland in the finals cause I support both teams so I'll be happy regardless of the outcome (:

So. Today was really packed. Had lessons and extra lessons to make up for the week of school that I'll be missing for Penang. Ended Math extra lesson at approximately 7.20pm!

Rewatched the season finale of Glee when I got home. I really love Glee cause it can relate to everyone of all shapes and sizes and their struggles to fit into society just by being themselves. Glee is like this medium for expressing their true selves so it's pretty awesome (: Love the plot, characters, songs, etc!

Anyway, flying off to Penang tomorrow. I'll miss everyone in school! ):

First week of school has been rather hectic. Lotsa work already coming in, plus I'll have to catch up on the 1 week of school that I'll be missing cause of Penang.. Dreading Tuesdays now cause my day's packed with 7.5h of lessons! Gets really draining just after the first lesson..

Still, was kinda happy to get back to school and see everyone again. Holidays do get really boring after a while anyway.

Missed the first 2 days of study time to help Ms Sie pack nmos stuff! (: Kinda nostalgic. Made me miss 403 even more than I already do!

Restrung my guitar today! (: I don''t really like new strings though, they go out of tune so easily.

Anyway, I've been wanting to update my blog these few days and a lot of things usually run through my mind when I'm lying on my bed just about to fall sleep. But then when I get to my blog the next day, whatever I've wanted to say the previous night just escapes me. Short-term memory? But then again, I sometimes find it hard to use words to express myself. I have to admit that I have to sometimes think twice about how to construct my sentences such that they at least sound coherent. Is that normal for someone who's most comfortable with English? :\ I think it's just cause I process words slowly O:

I don't really know how to express myself, but then again I don't usually get overwhelmed with emotions that easily. I'm rock solid yo :p

Sidetrack a bit, I've been listening to a lot of Eminem lately. Okay to be honest, more like 3 songs in particular: Beautiful, Stan and Not Afraid. I used to stay away from Eminem's music cause I always thought they were just, you know, like every other average rap. But I found these 3 songs in particular very.. inspiring.

Like yesterday I was at ttsh and I talked to 3 patients in total, one who had dementia, and 2 others in the same ward who all had very positive outlooks and viewpoints on life even though they were in hospital. I just found them so inspiring! There was this Chinese-speaking patient in his 60s and he's been through surgery at least 5 times for his sickness, and this time he was in hospital because he got lasik. He was admiring how awesome lasik was and felt like he had the vision of a 15 or 18 year old ;D He was going on about how life used to be so carefree when he was our age and now 9 out of 10 students in Singapore are wearing spectacles because of the competitiveness of our education system.. Students are made to make more serious decisions that affect their life at a younger age. He also blamed the increased education for the unhappiness among people, since everyone's more knowledgeable nowadays and are always unsatisfied till everyone of their demands are met. He's a retiree himself and he believes that one shouldn't ask for so much in life. One should be satisfied with whatever he or she has and our lives shouldn't be centered around money. Just sufficient money is enough to live a happy life and one should never be too greedy. Life should be based on what makes you happy instead of all the materialistic wants.

Whooo. Tiring but super fun day!

Went to recee Chinatown, Bugis and Esplanade area today for SIMC. Found out so many things that I didn't know! The company was kinda fun too! (:
I can't wait for my Australians to come!! Ahhhhhhh!
Chinatown was kinda cool, haven't really been into the temples and mosques ever before, so it was quite an eye-opener I guess. The egg tarts there are super nice!! Went to Bugis Junction after exploring Chinatown for a while. Lunched at KFC with people from both the Little India and Chinatown group, ten went off to the Esplanade. The view at the Esplanade is reallyreallyreally pretty :D Yay! Was super hyper throughout the whole trip. So were my beloved room mate and toilet mate and Mag :D
Then went back to school for SIMC farewell party rehearsal. Mass dance! :D Ohohoh and I'm very proud that I've (somewhat) learnt the Haka! Thanks nobellions :D

First thing's first,

Happy Belated Birthday Seng Aik Ann! :D

So. Today was a good day :D

Went for OSIM tri this morning with my younger bro. Definitely had great fun. Love such events haha. As Lianhan puts it, "Keep going for races. You'll get addicted."
Anyway, just before my wave started, my goggles broke! I panicked, cause I didn't have time to get back to the transition area to get my brother's. So out of desperation, my dad and I went to the area where competitors of the previous waves were coming out of their swim and randomly asked this guy (who was already walking, btw :p) if we could borrow his goggles. He looked so shagged that he just took off this goggles and passed them to me without hesitation. For that, thank you so much Mr 1130! (:
Swim was fine. According to my mum I was the one of the top 10 to come out of the water in my wave. Overtook some people in the previous wave too! Amazing, considering the fact that I haven't swam seriously in a million years.
1st Transition was hilarious :p After slipping on my shirt and stuff, I made my way with the bike all the way to the bike out area, then the volunteer stationed there went "EHEHEH! YOUR HELMET!" Then I was like "OH SHITTTTT." I leaned the bicycle on the barricade, then ran back to the spot where I had all my stuff, grabbed my helmet and ran off. Yet again, amazing.
Lianhan's bicycle is god-like k! I was riding at a relatively normal speed and I overtook so many people! Including people from 2 waves before me. Ohh the satisfaction :p
Second transition was funny too. I made a big round cause I didn't know where the run out area was. Guess I should have studied the layout properly! Overtook alot of people on the run too although I was already quite tired.
Omg I feel so proud of myself. Hahahahahah! Oh well, can't wait for the timings to come out. Wonder how fast/slow I was.
Conclusion: Take part in a triathlon without training hah!

Anyway, went to the airport for dinner. Airport has nice food! Ate at this Japanese pasta restaurant. (Forgot its name already! O:)

Bought this month's 8 days magazine on impulse too just cause glee was on its cover :D

Going back to hostel early tomorrow to take part in the inter-cluster basketball. Go 2B! (:

Shall rant about myself.

I am so disgusted with my poor immune system and my vulnerability to injuries! Come to think about it, I've been down with a sore throat at least 3 times this year already, and lost my voice on all occasions! (Including Green Day concert, I think I've lost my voice 4 times, but that's out of point, losing my voice then was totally worthwhile.)

So now I'm down with a sore throat again, in addition to a cough, blocked nose and slight fever. Totally missed out on all the stuff that was planned for today! Like in the morning, I realised when I woke up that it'd be impossible for me to go cycling and fishing at ECP with the ttsh gang, so I stayed home and ended up sleeping till 11.30-ish. Then I realised again that I was too sick to make it for the 403 movie outing, so I got JQ to take my place instead. D: Fun day wasted! Oh well, but I heard the movie wasn't too good. Wasn't worth the money.

Anyway talking about waking up late, no one can beat the champion that is lianhan! Went over to his house to collect his racing bike today, and my call at 3pm woke him up. Hah! Tried out his racer. Super light! And fun to ride! Thanks again for lending it to me! (If you ever see this, heh.)

OSIM's in a week and I haven't been fit enough to train properly! Hownowbrowncow.

You know what, I think I can list out all the injuries/illnesses that happened to be so far this year k. And they're all in a succession! I facepalm myself.

First sore throat of the year from the Green Day concert in January, then again after Chinese New year, and another just before March hols. Then I sprained my foot during competition during e-learning week. And fractured my toe a week and a half ago when I kicked my toe against the hostel room door while going out for roll call -.- (I still laugh at myself k.) Then it comes back to my current situation. Sore throat started on Sunday night actually. Only started coughing on Wednesday night.

Yucks! I hate my poor immune system! Sorry to all readers, I know I'm whining alot but this is just so annoying! Simultaneous drawbacks.. -.-

Oh well, on a lighter note, I'm going for my niece's 2nd birthday party tomorrow. Excited! Haven't seen her in a while.. (:

On another happier note, managed to catch the world premiere of Green Day's LOTAG music video. I think they could have chosen a better song as their new single, but oh well. Still love them :D

Whoo! Super relieved!

I can now safely say that House Carnival 2010 was a huge success! Thanks to everyone for putting so much effort into it, especially the year 5s mending the game booths + sports games, and the year 4s for mending the food booths! Ahhh so happy :D

Special thanks also to those involved in the opening & closing ceremony.. Especially Lianhan, Xuanhao, Emman, Chester & all the actors and house masters/mistresses. All the hard work was well worth it! (:

Ahh, feel so happy today!!! Even extra Chem lesson and English Summative make-up lesson couldn't dampen my mood.

The trip home was good too :D Yay!

Happy Birthday Stuart Tang! (:

Haven't really updated in a long time.. Nothing really much to say these few days I guess.

Oh I know. I sprained my foot! It's now swollen and wrapped up. It was all quite funny actually. I was playing a match against this HCI girl, then at the 2nd point of the whole game, since the floor was quite slippery, I stretched to receive a shuttle but ended up landing on the side of my foot and falling, and staying on the ground for like 5 seconds cause I couldn't move my leg properly haha.

In the end I lost in a 3 setter.. In the last set the score was 21-18.. Actually in hindsight I'm not sure to be happy of sad, cause apparently according to Julian, I could have won. But then again I'm quite satisfied with my score cause I managed to stretch a HCI girl into a 3 setter even with a sprained foot (: I'm also happy that I won an NYJC girl in the first round haha. Oh well. Time to train harder. I'll come back next year stronger! (And with shoes that have a better grip! (:)

The pain only really came in after I stopped playing.. While playing I could feel this slight pain in my foot but it was ignorable.. Then after the game was over and I took out my shoe it started to hurt like crazy, and there was this bulge at the side of my foot. Ended up going home from Tampines with a limp (;

Didn't go to school for SSEF or for House Carnival stuff today in the end cause of my leg.. Wanted to let it fully recover in time for House Carnival tomorrow.

I really hope House Carnival'10 will be a success. Thanks everyone for putting in so much effort. Greatly appreciated! (:

Okay I know this is kinda late, but better late than never so:

HAPPY CNY!! (:

Today was a rather productive day I would say! Physics in the morning was revision for the test in 2 weeks' time. Bio seemed to pass quite fast today. Got to play with torchlights :D Huimingyan has brown eyes! And mine more or less blend in with my pupil.

Had chocolate waffle & apple juice for lunch! Been craving for chocolate waffle since morning. Plus, I feel super healthy cause I drink fresh apple juice everyday. (:

Went to West Coast Plaza with Yap, Huimingyan and Weijin at 1 to buy court shoes for SLI ): Haixzxzxz. Then we bought stuff to eat and sat around for a while. And 3 of us didn't dare to eat much because we thought they were gonna take our height and weight during pe!

Then got back to hostel and went to the hall to play dodgeball/volleyball! Funfun :D Then played badminton from 3-4.30. Super tired today!! My stamina dropped like crazy over the CNY holidays.. And I was totally stoned throughout! I would look at the shuttle fly past in instead of moving to retrieve it. My legs just refused to move! Sadface.

Ran 2.4 for pe (And my timing deproved by 30 secs wth O:) then played dodgeball again. Or at least we attempted to, but everyone was already too tired by then.

So now my feet are aching and I'm super drained. Alone in my hostel room too cause Yap went to Night Safari with the Xi'an people (jealous!!). I hope I don't wake up tomorrow morning with a full body ache!

Plus I'm super excited about Saturday! My relatives are coming over! :D My slightly extended family. Yayyyy (: That means I get to mahjong/blackjack! Plus I get to see my nieces + nephew!

Pewpewpew I shall watch American Idol now!

Whooo. Washed my bedsheets today. & just in time for CNY!

And I really like hostel! I've told my older brother that many times but all he can say is "Wah, lame." Hah nevermind. He'll understand how fun hostel life is when he enters uni later this year!

Today's my holey day (I end at 10am!) so I'm back in hostel 'studying'. Oh yeah I stuck my SP poster up on my wall already! I shall go source for a GD one sometime soon!

Playing badminton later! Yayaye.

I can't wait for tomorrow to be over! Then all that's left to look forward to is CNY! Don't know why I'm super excited about CNY this year. Maybe because I get a long weekend off from school and work and everything else that's going on today!

BTW, I heart Shiny Silver Ions :D Can't wait for our next performance :D

Thanks to all who were involved in the planning, and all Faradians!

Especially Lianhan, Mitchell, Cheryl, Luke, Emmanuel, Deborah, Sabrina and all the station games masters and group leaders!

These 3 days have taken months of planning and I know it had not been an easy task for all those involved, but you guys pulled through and everything fell nicely into place (: I'm so glad that everything's finally over and that the orientation ended on a HIGH!

School starts are 9.45am tomorrow, and my feet are aching, throat is hurting and mind is in a whirl, so I guess I better go off to bed!

Been really busy lately.

And I realised I've been sort of neglecting IR, and focusing more on orientation stuff. Well from what I've heard so far, the student population isn't exactly happy with the orientation being house based... I just hope all goes well!

Thank goodness the people I'm working with are quite co-operative, or else I think I would've died already. Haha.

Another joker here. You're just like a kid, super mischievous and love to laugh alot. Your random walks around class during lesson time are really... random. Plus your random outbursts of laughter in class are super infectious too. Went to school yesterday for house meeting, then went to Orchard Cine in the afternoon with Gerlynn, Jieun, Dylan, Ray, Stuart, Wenxiang, Ernest and Jiaqing to watch Avatar!

That was $6 well spent I must say :D Didn't expect the show to be 2h 45 mins! So anyway, if you haven't, go watch it. Maybe watch it in 3D. I think it'll be cooler.

Went to Gerlynn's house today to get some IR done. Finished our logbook + managed to get a rough idea on how we're going to get our results :D And Gerlynn got her new guitar today O:

Then went to Ion in the evening with my mum and younger bro! Why does Orchard (and MRTs for that matter) have to be so crowded? Gives me headaches ._.

Didn't manage to buy anything though. I still have many things on my shopping list that have yet to be cancelled!!

I'm back from Eastern Europe! (Okay I was actually back yesterday but I was, as usual, too lazy to blog.)
The weather there is cold! And it's getting colder! It was typically around 5 degrees Celsius when we left, so luckily there wasn't any snow.
Anyway for those people who still don't know (I think it's everyone that I know actually o.O), I went to Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Vienna.

In the day (especially the first half of the day), I'm practically half-dead. Like even before this morning's o lvl paper, I was barely even physically awake, needless to say mentally awake :S

Anyway I've got training tomorrow morning! Blah I hate waking up early. But then again, it's for training so I guess it's okay.

Random slacking-cum-tennis session today at MingYan's/Gerlynn's condo. Tennis is super fun! (That is, if you have a ballboy/girl helping you to retrieve the balls :P) Why is the tennis court so huge? O:

I'll blog since I'm bored and I don't feel like going to sleep.

But the thing is, I have no idea what to blog about. Gerlynn's already blogged about all the significant things I've done these few days, so I don't see the point of repeating.

Okay let's see. I shall start from Saturday!

I woke up in the ~~morning~~ afternoon and my whole body was aching like mad O: Maybe it was because of the Wii on Thursday but I reckon it's because of the way I slept. Even my back was aching like mad. Perhaps this is an experience of what I will feel everyday in the future? O:

Oh! And I got CS from Ernest! Thankyouuu Huang! Okay actually I was just intending to get L4D but the file was corrupted. Then I saw CS in his thumbdrive so I *ehem* stealthily installed in on my com! I'm pro at CS rightrightright! :p

Btw GLEE is really awesome. Waiting for S1E09 to come out on 11 Nov! Haha for those of you who don't watch glee I suggest you skip the following chunk of text.

Quinn is EVIL D: Finn's such a nice guy and she's deceiving him! ): can't stand it! And I think Rachel has an awesome voice omgish O: And Mr Schuester can dance and sing really well! Haha I think he looks young enough to play one of the students. It'll be really cool to have a teacher like him who allows students to slushie him in the face! O: And I think Emma looks.. creepy. Her eyes are so huge O.O and her face looks botoxed. Haha omg I need someone to talk to about glee!

Okay then my niece came. She's so cute lah. And she loveeeesssss me :D

Then CSed and facebooked till around 2 then went to sleep.

Today was the earliest that I've woken up since Friday. I woke up at 11am! I love sleeping! Sleeping is holy. Seriously :D (And here I am still wide awake at 1am when I have to wake up at 8am tomorrow...)

Training(!) at 2pm. Wow training so hard after 2 weeks of having a stagnant exercise regime is not a good idea. I got tired so fast and my whole body ached even more in addition to the aches gotten from playing Wii on Thursday! Nonono. Gotta work on my fitness before Cheers :]

SO there's training at Clementi central and Chinese remedial tomorrow, both of which clash. Being the diligent student that I am, I've decided to go for Chinese first before making my way to Clementi for cca after. Two-in-one, yo!

I think yesterday was a really fulfilling day for me.

First thing in the morning was mentoring. Finally, after 2 weeks we have mentoring. Mostly talked about majors and honours. I still have no idea what to honours in. Should I drop math honours and take up chem honours, or keep math honours and don't bother taking chem honours? I dislike making important decisions, especially when the options are both that you wouldn't mind.
Btw, grats Stuart on your cp and grats Bryce on your young scientist award (i) :D
P.E next. P.E is the probably the lesson that I look forward to every week even at the beginning of the week. Floorball again, fun (:
Next was well, the agonizing 45 minutes of a Math honours test. I think that math honours tests are really depressing, mainly cause all the questions and examples provided prior to the tests are relatively easy and when the test comes, BOOMZ. We get bombarded with questions that are demoralizing to one's ego.
Then it was Chinese. Went through the rest of the 模拟试卷, then ENGLiSH SA O: *dramatic music plays* I guess it was okay. Hope that I didn't write out of point!
Math! Haha math lesson was fun, the most fun math lesson so far this semester. Thanks to the random integration question that made everyone go GG.
Well, then it was CIP time. CCA CIP, in fact. The first 1h or so was going door to door trying to find people who would actually let us go in to clean their houses. Then some year 3s had to leave for CO rehearsal, so we took over and went over to clean the house of a couple with 2 year old and 10 month old kids. The super adorable 10 month old baby could already walk! And all he could say was "EH". Hahahaa!! Too cute!
Then while we were cleaning, an old lady came us to us and said some stuff in hokkien which we couldn't really understand, but she asked us to follow her to her house so Tingan and I went. Her house looked super familiar and then I remembered that she talked to us last year while we were cleaning the walkways last year during our year 3 CIP! Apparently this old lady is already 90 years old (!) and staying alone. She also plucks 6kg of bean sprouts per day to sell to hawker stalls for a living. 6kg of bean sprouts! Imagine that! Then she was telling us about how she already has a grandchild who has grandchildren, so that makes her a great great grandmother. Cool stuff. Then she was also telling us about how some of her grandchildren/great grandchildren offer to help her pluck the bean sprouts after school, but she always says no cause she wants them concentrate on their school work. When she told us that, I have to admit that I was super touched, and didn't know what to reply. Then she went on telling us about how important education is and she'll be happy just seeing us go through the whole process. Well, I guess she wanted us to go to her house cause she just needed someone to talk to. Imagine being a 90 year old spending your whole day at home just plucking bean sprouts. She even told us to visit her again and she'll buy some drinks for us. Haha. Really nice person.
Then brought back all the cleaning stuff to school where Luke was keeping them. Ty Luke for keeping everything! Looked like it was really tough :\
Then went back to school to celebrate MingYan's birthday! Ernest was so fail! While Yanling and I were leading Ming Yan away from the canteen, we met him carrying the cake down the stairs -.^ Haha it was so funny cause in the end Ming Yan still played along :p Happy Birthday again! :D
Then CO concert at night. I have to admit that the CO concert was much better than what I had anticipated it to be. CO and choir have really improved alot! Gerlynn the soprano singing at the back! :P 402's concert was really really funny! Domokun! Hahaha! Ster Yee's performance was really cool too! Everyone was waving their handphone lights like it was a rock concert! So fun!
Oh and Ernest made this really awesome comment during the erhu performance "Why is it called an ‘二胡’ and not a ‘两胡’?" HAHA.
Yesterday was one of the more interesting days so far this term. Really thoroughly enjoyed the non-test portions of it! :p

Okay I shall update.

Just watched The Ron Clark Story (The Triumph) on tv, and I just couldn't believe that it was based on a true story.

Okay I actually stopped to watch the show only cause I saw Matthew Perry acting. I think he's a really good actor :] And this movie was shown in cinemas in 2006...

THE RON CLARK STORY follows the inspiring tale of an energetic, creative and idealistic young teacher who leaves his small North Carolina hometown to teach in a New York City public school. Through his passionate use of special rules for his classroom, highly innovative teaching techniques and an undying devotion to his students and helping them cope with their problems, Clark is able to make a remarkable difference in the lives of his students. For one young girl trying to attend school while helping to raise her brothers and sisters, he offers a chance for her to overcome her situation and become one of the class' top students. For a young man with a penchant for graffiti, he offers an ideal outlet for artistic expression. Even when he is almost overcome by pneumonia, Clark continues to work with his students, hoping that he can raise their test scores to an acceptable level, or possibly even higher.

No movie has ever inspired me so much before, so I just had to share it here.

My AYC experience has been a very fruitful and fun-filled one, and new friendships were forged all over Singapore/ASEAN.
It may have been tiring and taxing (and not to mention missing one whole week of school + burning my entire National Day weekend!), but it was well worth it.
I take away with me not only knowledge but new-found friendships that I'm sure will last for a long time (:

I don't think I can finish all my homework/revision by Wednesday.
I leave home at around 7am everyday and get home at about 10pm. Then after I shower and check my email it's already like 11pm. Then I'll just knock out on my bed.
& it's especially irritating when people say "WOOOO 4 days holiday." So suan. (Okay there's nothing wrong with that but I'm just ranting cause I want to do so.)
